A visit to the Glasgow Botanic Gardens had been on my wishlist for a while now. But so far, we have only been to Glasgow for some errands, and given how far away this city is from our hill in Aberdeenshire, there hasn’t been much time to go exploring.
But last Saturday, when we found ourselves on the road again because Ikea refused to ship some items to our local pick-up point, we decided it was time to see a little more of Glasgow. So we left early to pick up our order and then spent some time at the Botanic Gardens. A short detour that is well worth the effort because what a beautiful space.
